News that the US giant Busch are set to open an array of theme parks in Dubai╤В╨Р╨йs ╤В╨Р╨мPalm Jebel Ali╤В╨Р╨н development was well received by the stock market with shares being marked higher on hopes that this would be a valuable future income stream for the group. Globalisation is increasingly playing a key role in the transference between countries pursuing similar business models and provides for greater brand extension.

(CBS/AP) Economic policymakers on Thursday recommended stricter regulation of mortgage lenders as part of a broad effort to prevent a repeat of a credit crisis threatening to drive the country into recession. Click here for the full story.

“Federal and state regulators should strengthen oversight of mortgage lenders, according to the group’s report released Thursday. Also, states should follow strong, uniform licensing standards for mortgage brokers. No such nationwide system exists, although legislation in Congress would create one.”

While the vast majority of Golf Courses in India are out of the reach of the general public, this has not stopped a massive increase in the number of golf courses planned for the country. The country recently hosted the Johnnie Walker Classic Golf Tournament which saw a whole host of golfing stars in attendance. Many of these stars it seems used their time in India productively to have tie in their tournament visit with a number of commercial meetings with news that the likes of Colin Montgomerie and Vijay Singh are in talks about designing new golf courses in the India.

As the credit crunch continues to affect funding for a whole host of business activities it seems as though 2008 will be a year in which Real Estate players will really have to earn their commissions. The key is to get your name out there, letting the buyers know what is on offer and letting prospective sellers know that you just closed that massive deal yesterday.
